This policy explains what personal information Olko Media collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Olko Media (“Olko Media”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operates olkomedia.com and provides retention marketing, ecommerce design and creative production services. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. When we handle personal information on behalf of a client as part of our services, we act as a processor and follow that client’s instructions and their own privacy notice.
We only collect what we need to answer enquiries, run our services and operate this website.
Information you give us
Information collected automatically
Client account data
When we deliver services, we may be granted access to a client’s marketing, ecommerce or analytics platforms. Any end-customer data in those systems remains under the client’s control; we access it only to perform the agreed work.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, racial or religious information) and ask that you do not send them to us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, together with supplementary measures where needed.
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

To exercise any right, email info@olkomedia.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30 days, or 45 days in California) and may need to verify your identity. An authorised agent may submit a request with proof of authorisation.
Marketing emails we send include a working unsubscribe link and our postal contact details, in line with CAN-SPAM, CASL and the GDPR. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but not essential service messages about active work. Where we help clients run their own email or SMS programmes, those programmes are governed by the client’s own privacy notice and consent records.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access to client platforms and vetted providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our site links to third-party websites and tools, including our scheduling provider and client stores. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies before sharing information with them.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and material changes will be communicated where required.
